Former Minister of Youth and Sports Emmanuel Teye Mensah says players must not pay for the cost of pitch maintenance in the country.
E.T Mensah as popularly known noted that pitch maintenance is the sole responsibility of government and not players.
There have been argument in the public over the status of pitches in the country with Black Satrs coach, Avram Grant, blaming his team's abysmal performance against Uganda on the bad nature of the pitch.
In an interview with Starr FM, E.T Mensah said "Players must not pay for cost of pitch maintenance in the Country".
