Black Stars captain and Liberty Professionals legend Asamoah Gyan insists curses will be rained on his head if he buys Liberty Professionals.
According to a management member of the club, Mr.Daniel Martey, the club legend has made the managers aware that he is not interested in owning the team but will rather help them to avoid financial complications.
It has been rumoured in the local media that the Black Stars Captain was close to making a bid for the team but these stories have now been quashed by Mr Martey's comments.
“I played under these current management at Liberty Professionals so it will be a big curse for me to use to buy the club but will rather help you all financially to help the club maintain the aim,” Gyan is quoted as saying.
Mr.Daniel Martey also pleaded with Asamoah Gyan to move into football management immediately he retires from football.
