Kumasi Asante Kotoko deputy coach, Michael Osei believes the club will find it difficult to replace striker Dauda Mohammed.
Duada is currently in Belgium training with Jupilar Pro League giants, Anderlecht in a bid to win a contract ahead of the second round of the championship after his scintillating performance in the Ghana Premier League last season with the Porcupine Warriors, where he bagged in 8 goals to help the club finish 5th on the log.
Nevertheless, the 19-year-old’s purported departure has left a bad taste in mouth of the club’s teeming supporters and coaches alike, and Michael Osei has indicated that club is bound to suffer in replacing their prize asset.
“We have to find a good replacement so we are working on it but it’s really difficult”.
“It’s a bad thing but once the boy wants to go there is nothing one can do about it”.
“We just need to find a quality replacement but it has not been easy,” he told Starr FM Sports.
Dauda will join his compatriots, Frank Opoku Acheampong and Emmanuel Adjei Sowah in the Purple and White side.
