Eintracht Braunschweig enterprising defender, Phil Ofosu-Ayeh has returned to full fitness after a long injury lay-off.

The 23-year old highly rated right full back sustained the injury during a league game for Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga Liga 2, which resulted in him missing the last three Black Stars call-ups.

However, after recovering from the injury which has kept him out for almost four months, he was named on the substitute bench for the Braunschweig side that defeated fellow qualification hopefuls SpVgg Greuther Furth through a Onel Hernández lone goal to maintain their five-point lead over second placed team Union Berlin at the summit of the log.

Phil Ofosu-Ayeh marked his debut for the Black Stars in the Friendly international against Canada in October last year.

He was part of Avram Grant’s squad that defeated Les Coelacantes of Comoros Island in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier.
