The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that FIFA President Gianni Infantino will visit Ghana on Monday on a one-day working visit that will include a meeting with the country’s President Nana Akufo-Addo.
The leader of world football’s governing body will arrive in Accra on Monday morning as he seeks to further strengthen the ties between FIFA and Ghana.
Below are some time updates on Infantino's arrival and activities surrounding his visit.
1. Infantino arrives at the Kotoka Intl Airport at 8:45 this morning. TV stations and cameramen will be allowed to cover at arrival at the VIP area - near the tarmac.
2. Infantino will meet President Nana Akufo Addo at 10am at the Presidency.
3. Meeting with key football stakeholders at the GFA at about 11 am.
4. Press conference immediately after the stakeholders meeting
5. Departure 1pm
