Edwin Osei Pele lashes out at Hearts of oak after securing Azerbaijan deal

Ex-Hearts of Oak striker Edwin Osei Pele has lashed out at his former team for not being good to him while he was playing for them.

The 26 year old Osei who burst into the scene in the 2009 Ghalca Top Four became an instant hit by winning the goalking, but hardly found his feet with the Phobians afterwards.

According to Osei Pele who just secure a deal in Azerbaijan, Hearts of Oak caused his downfall.

“I am very much disappointed in Accra Hearts of oak for how they treated me.” He said on Angel FM.

“I was their prolific striker by then; they refused to treat me the way they did to Mahatma Otoo.”

“They are the cause of my downfall, I am only grateful to God for such a wonderful deal.”

“A deal without trials straight medicals is a gift from God.” He added.

Osei Pele has featured for BA United, Kessben FC, Real Tamale United and played for Badgilspor Kulubu in Turkey as well as Cypriot side FC Magusa.
