Former Accra Hearts of Oak captain Amankwa Mireku says there was no need in appointing Scottish trainer Frank Nuttall as head coach of the club.
Hearts until their match-day 4 win over Wa All Stars had endured a difficult start to the season.
According to Amankwah Mireku who led Hearts to continental glory in 2000, Henry Wellington should have been entrusted with the head coach role.
“I think hearts is playing well in this year’s League despite their failure to record victories,” he spoke to Cape Coast based ATL FM.
“But I believe the management made a mistake for not allowing the assistant coach to lead the team for a while since Nutall didn’t come early.
