Coach of the Black Stars Avram Grant has indicated that the team’s AFCON opener against Uganda on Tuesday will be a very difficult test despite being sure that his side will win the game.

The Israeli gaffer holds that the Cranes were a tough test for the Stars when both sides met in the 2018 World Cup qualifier in Ghana and all teams are playing at equal strength at the moment.

“Uganda is a tough team and we saw that in our last game with them but that was in the past. We are in the present now so we can only learn from what happened in the past. All the games in Africa are now tough and there are no easy games now. We also try to be a difficult opponent for any team and we will try to win any game as is our target. Our target is still to win every game.” Avram told  Happy FM‘s Mac-Paradise Okocha in Port Gentil, Gabon.

Ghana plays Uganda on Tuesday at 4pm at the Port Gentil Stadium.
