Asamoah Gyan is now Ghana all-time leading scorer in African Cup of Nations history after he netted his eighth goal for the Black Stars today in their 2017 Group D clash againt Mali today.
He scored his first goal at the 2008 AFCON in Ghana and has gone-on to score at the next six tournaments in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2017.
The Al Ahli loaneemoved past Reverend Osei Kofi and teammate Andre Ayew who are tied on 7 goals.
