Ghana striker Jordan Ayew says he has the backing of coach Avram Grant to succeed at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Gabon.
Jordan was talk of the town after Ghana's group opener against Uganda. The Aston Villa was heavily criticised for what many describe as below par performance from him.
In an interview with Pulse.com.gh,the Aston Villa star said he always has belief in his abilities.
“I am always confident because I know the quality I have. The coach and the players have confidence in me so there is no problem.”
“Two of our stars (Andre and Asamoah) were not hundred percent so I have to run more and I do that with a good heart and good spirit.”
