Two Ghana stars Jurgen Klopp must be considering signing at AFCON 2017

AFCON 2017 is rumbling on and so it’s time for our last look at one of the better nation’s best stars with the view to how they’d fit in with the Reds.

The country in question are usually considered one of the favourites for the tournament each time, too – Ghana.

The Black Stars boast the experience of the likes of Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew whilst the likes of Michael Essien have also passed through highlighting their ability to produce good stars.

They’ll be looking for more of the same from this current batch, then, and if they do start bringing through more class players we reckon Jurgen Klopp needs to be aware to what comes through.

Time then for the German to have a look at what the Ghanaian’s have to offer and to kick things off we’ve come up with these two talented looking stars.

Thomas Partey

Partey looks set to be the next rangy and powerful midfielder and has a great ability to go box-to-box with ease.

We certainly don’t really have that at the moment with Jordan Henderson becoming more of a passer and the likes of Emre Can and Georginio Wijnaldum needing to improve their attacking edge. Partey himself has work to do, of course, but at 23-years-old he’s got time on his side and could be a real force in the future.

Bernard Tekpetey The 19-year-old hasn’t been at Schalke long but many are excited about what he could turn out to be.

He hasn’t got many appearances to his name either but his power and pace suggests he could make it at the highest levels if he can work hard on his technique. He’s the kind of raw talent that, with a bit of honing, could be a real star. Jurgen Klopp has the ability to do that, too, and so it would be worth having a look at the winger.
