The president of the Ghana Football Association has described Juventus player, Kwadwo Asamoah as the "greatest Ghanaian to ever play in the Serie A".

According to Mr Nyantakyi, the versatile player is head and shoulders above all his compatriots who have played in Italian football's topflight on account of his four consecutive league titles with Juve.

The GFA president by virtue of these comments rates Asamoah ahead of Abedi Pele (Torino), Sammy Kuffour ( AS Roma), Mohammed Gargo (Udinese) and Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan who preceded Asamoah's arrival in Italy.

The GFA president  made his comments  last Thursday at Arthur Legacy's Calcio Trade Ball held in Accra.

He said, "With due respect, Kwadwo is the most greatest and most successful Ghanaian footballer in Italy.

"He has won the Scudetto four times on the trot, I am not a fan of Juventus but  I congratulate  him for this.

Asamoah was also awarded as the best player of the 2015/2016 Serie A season.
